BELOW: Early 1940's1945 Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps picture, maybe a 1945 photo.
BELOW: According to Kiltie Kadet & Kilties Alumni Rich Hinderholtz this 1940's photo of the Kilties was rescued back in the
1970's when the Kilties moved out of "Kiltie Hall" by Kiltie Alumni Tom Sorensen. I believe that the corners were cut off on this
photo to make it fit a frame of some sort.

LEFT: This photo appeared in the Racine
Journal Times sometime during 1944. The
photo caption was titled: "Kiltie Drum Major
Joins Navy; Contest will Pick Successor."
The accompanying article read "Officers of
the Wisconsin State National Guard will be
judges at the YMCA Wednesday night when
a new drum major will be selected from the
"Y" Kiltie drum and bugle corps' membership
to succeed Donald Olson, who has enlisted
in the navy. Parents and friends of
members of the Kilties have been invited to
attend the special program. Eight members
of the Kilties will try out for the position.
Officers of the state guard who will be
judges are: Capt. Sarles, Capt. E. J.
Schneller, Lt. C. S. Felske, Lt. Theodore
Ruffalo and Lt. Stephen Thravolis."
